NEWS FROM THE ROAD

January 2008

January was filled with cold weather and then warm weather. It was an adventure to say the least, but what a great time I had. It was so exciting to minister in Panama City, FL and see old friends again, as well as meet new ones. The Emerald Coast Jubilee was filled with great gospel singing each day and night. The presence of God was so real, as people worshipped and praised our lord and savior. Brian Free and Assurance, The Dixie Melody Boys and Three Bridges did an outstanding job, as well all the other artist that were there. Then I was off to Cape Canaveral, FL for the Sonshine Promotions Gospel Cruise, which is sponsored through our record label, Chapel Valley Studio/Sonshine Promotions. We spent five days aboard the Carnival Sensation and did we ever have a time of our life.. Jetta and Paul Roark absolutely out did themselves as host of this event. There was singing each afternoon beginning at 5:00 p.m. and a Chapel Service every morning at 9:00 a.m. I have never heard such great singing and preaching in my life. Every single artist did an outstanding job and I must give a big round of applause to the greatest sound techs there is. Shane Roark, Travis Roark and all the awesome musicians from Chapel Valley Studio were out of this world. Shane Roark, Travis Roark, Jonathan Presnall, and David Castle were the house band for the event. These guys rocked the boat. Of course, they are all part of the studio musicians at Chapel Valley Studio, so what can you say, You Get The Best!!!!!!! The two days we docked was so awesome, Nassau was absolutely beautiful. Tons of shops and The Atlantis. That was a trip within itself. Now, if you ever go to The Atlantis, make sure you have a good tour guide, one who doesn't get you lost, lol. There was six of us together and it was like the blind leading the blind, but we had a blast. Then of course, there was Freeport, anything you could possibly want to buy, reasonably, you could find it there. Now, I can't leave off the food, more food, and again let me say, more food. I have never seen as much food in my entire life. I have never eaten as much food in my entire life. All you wanted to eat, 24 hours a day. I guess they was glad to see me leave the ship. Outstanding service and the people who worked aboard the ship could not have been anymore nicer. I would recommend anyone to cruise with us in 2009. The joy of worshipping our lord and savior together and having a great time of fellowship is worth it all.

Then, it was off to Tarpon Springs, FL on Thursday night. Reign Song and myself held a concert at the KOA campground there in Tarpon Springs. It was again, a great honor and joy to be with Reign Song and the wonderful people, Ed and his wife, at the KOA Campground. We had a wonderful time and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it.

Leaving Tarpon Springs, I headed off for Gray, GA for a concert on Friday night. By this time, I had began to feel hoarse. All the changing in the temperatures was working hard on me. But we prayed and trusted God for victory over it.

On that Sunday, I had the honor of being with Jordan Amburn at The House of Prayer in Maryville, TN both the morning and evening service. WOW, not only is Jordan an outstanding singer, but what an anointed preacher. We had a Holy Ghost good time. The power of God came down, people were rejoicing, receiving miracles in their lives and rededicating their hearts. I could have kept going on for another week.

When ever we are in your area, come out and be with us. We truly appreciate your prayers, love and support.

Till next month,

Ron

February 2008

February has been an action packed month. Busy up and down the road spreading the wonderful news of Jesus Christ. Rejoicing over the souls that we have seen come to know him and those that have been set free from bondage. While ministering in Prattville, AL, we saw where the tornados ripped through and destroyed so many homes. How it broke our hearts to see peoples lives turned upside down. We never know when a tragedy is going to strike, but we do know the one who is always in control. Please keep these people in your prayers. And always, keep us in your prayers as well.

In Christ,

Ron

March 2008

March came in like a storm, and I do literally mean a storm. During a recent concert in Rockmart, GA, where I was raised, tornados began to hit the ground. Never would I dream of the destruction these tornados would leave behind. On Friday night of the concert, one hit about 6 miles from where the concert was being held. No one there ever realized anything was happening. We were all too busy enjoying ourselves in the greatness of the lord. Mike Upright, Enlisted, Jeff Eberhart all did fantastic jobs that night. It was great to be able to go back to my hometown and be in concert again. But, the path that lay ahead was heartbreaking. The first tornado hit on Friday night around 10:00. Little damage was done. On Saturday, three tornados was on the ground at the same time. Two people from the Rockmart/Rome, GA area were killed, several are still missing. In a nearby community, approximately 10 miles away, two more were killed. On down the road, there were several more confirmed dead. The destruction this tornado left was unbelievable. I couldn't help but think of the song that Shane Roark wrote that is on my new project, "My God Still Moves." Even through all of this, God was still moving, people were coming together and helping each other, as we should. God is always in control, no matter what the situation is.

Then on down the road in Talladega, AL, we had a fantastic time. It is always great to minister with the people at Antioch Church. They have some of the best cooks anywhere. Yes, I love to eat. These people believe in going to church with you. They truly support you in prayer and worship. What a wonderful time of praise, rejoicing and the moving of the Holy Spirit.

Then I had the honor of ministering with the wonderful people at Salem Baptist Church in Ringgold, GA. Now, these people also like to feed you. Man, if I keep going like I am going, my wife will have to purchase pants in a larger size. Man, those ladies could put on a meal. They all loved the Lord so much and had such an awesome spirit about them. It was so great to laugh and share the gospel in song with Salem Baptist. We love you guys.

It was also a great time at North Georgia Baptist Temple in Dalton. Now, once again, there was food and where there is food, you will find me, lol. What a great church, a wonderful pastor, Bro. Shane is such a blessing. His whole church is loving and precious. We had a great time with them and enjoyed being with them on Easter Sunday night.

VANISHING! Now, here is a name you do not want to forget. Eddie, Jerry, Darryl, Matthew, Larry, Jeremy, and Michael. These guys are out of this world. Every single one of these guys play instruments, with the exception of Matthew. Eddie, Matt, and Darryl all sing. These guys totally bring a house down. Not only are they awesome musicians and singers, but dedicated Christian men. What an honor it was to be in concert with them at the Heart Of Worship Center. WOW! We had a blast in the lord.  To all the fine people at Heart Of Worship Center, thank you for having us with you. What a awesome time we had. Now, many of you probably know Matt Price, as he traveled with The Duvall Family prior to their coming off the road. If these guys are ever in your area, make it a point to go out and hear them, they will bless your heart with their music and songs they sing unto the lord.

What a tremendous time we had at City View Church Of God. Such wonderful, loving people and what a house band. This day was very special, as I had the honor of being part of a celebration of a young life being dedicated to the lord. Such a beautiful baby and what a wonderful mother and dad who loved the lord. The spirit was so awesome, people worshipping God. Two precious souls rededicated their life. This is what it's all about! PRAISE GOD FOR SUCH A BLESSING.

Immanuel Fellowship was all fired up and ready to go to church. Still the praises of God rang out and people worshipping our lord. The power of God swept across the building and people obeyed God. The alters began filling with people praying and seeking God for different areas of their life. Countless people came forward for prayer for healing, standing in the gap for loved ones who needed deliverance from drugs. What a mighty God we serve. After the concert, the pastor spoke from Colossians, reminding us how we are to really "LOVE" one another and walk in the trueness of God's love. What a message! The service ended with different ones giving their testimonies of how God had brought them out of darkness into the light. Joy overflowed my soul, as I listened to many who once was bound by the "darkness of the devil, METH," but PRAISE GOD, they now are set free and working for our lord Jesus Christ! Folks, "My God Still Moves."

Well, that catches me up for now, I will chat again in a few days. I pray God will bless all of you and continue to pray for the ministry. If you would like to support this ministry financially, your help would be greatly appreciated. Maybe it would only be a $1.00 a month, or $5.00, whatever the Lord lays upon your heart. If you would like more information on where to send your support for this ministry to, please email me and I will be glad to share with you where to send your support to.

I am getting ready to release "My God Still Moves," so call your local radio station and request it. This is a powerful song and I appreciate all of you that pray and support this ministry in any way.

I'll see you all at FanFair!

Ron

April 2008

Well another month has come upon us as and we are entering into the beautiful time of the year, as the leaves on the trees began to turn green and flowers began to open and show their beauty. It never ceases to amaze me at all the splendor our heavenly father has created. All the heavens and the earth! All his children! I still love the children's song, "Jesus Loves The Little Children." No matter who you are, where you are, where you come from, your background, he loves you! He loved us so much, that he gave his life freely, so that we could have everlasting life. That is something to shout about!

Well, FanFair was great! Randall did an outstanding job again this year! Chapel Valley Studio did a phenomenal  job running sound. Southern Style Praise, these guys worked hard and did such a wonderful job with the lighting and taping of the event. The entire event was such a success!

On Friday, everyone should have been in The Roarks showcase! Heaven came down and glory filled the room. Every single artist that performed was anointed and the sweet, sweet, spirit was ever so real. People were praising God! I don't think anyone had dry eyes in the room. The power of God swept through like a rushing wind. I honestly don't believe any of us were ready to leave. Whenever you are in the presence of God like that, you just want to bask in that sweet spirit.

Saturday night took me to Buckhead, GA. Bonner's Triple B Restaurant. Now, if you want some great food, wonderful, loving Christian people, I recommend you go and visit Ms. Hattie and Tim at Bonner's. These people love the lord with all their heart! They show it in all they do and say. We had a wonderful time in the lord and great fellowship.

Sunday, we were with the wonderful people at Lewis Chapel Church of God in Dunlap, TN. We had another Holy Ghost good time! Now, no one told me that breakfast was going to be served, what a surprise. Greg cooked one of the best breakfast I have ever ate. By now, all of you know, where there is food, you will find me. It was such a joy to be blessed by them with a good hearty breakfast, but also by the wonderful teaching of God's word. The Sunday school lesson was so great! Teaching Romans 6: 1-23. What a fantastic lesson on dying out to sin. The worship began as we entered into praise to our father. That sweet spirit began to move across the room, as people began to obey the spirit and praise HIM for all HE has done. That same sweet spirit continued on throughout the concert. It was also such a blessing, as Bro. Swaner's wife blessed us with her beautiful voice in song! WOW, this lady has truly got a talent and an anointing. Thank you Bro. Swaner and Lewis Chapel Church of God for such a wonderful time in the lord and for the sweet spirit we felt.

I would like to take just a moment and recognize our home church! Traveling full-time, we don't get to attend as often as we would like, however, we feel we have the best church anywhere. Bro. Gleason and Sis. Rebecca Maxwell of The Berryton Church of God, are absolutely the best pastor and wife anyone could ask for. The entire church is filled with the love of God and obedience to the spirit. We are so blessed to have a pastor and wife that believe in visiting the sick and shut ins, caring for the widows and orphans and preaching and teaching the word of God as it is written! We are also blessed to have a church that believes in praying for one another! A church that prays for my ministry as we travel up and down the road, seeking to do the will of the father! I am so honored to be a part of this church family. We love you all very much!

Off to Panama City Beach, FL and man was it ever the right time to be there "SPRING BREAK." I couldn't help but think of how times had changed since I grew up. So much respect has been lost over the generation of time. Our children need to be taught the principles of the Bible and how to be respectful of themselves, as well as others. Nothing thrills my heart more than to see young people that are working and serving the lord. However, nothing tares me up inside worse, than to see the hold the devil has on our youth! We need to pray hard for our children and seek God for them.

On Thursday night it was an honor to be with the wonderful people at Emerald Coast Beach Resort. Jane and Carl thank you so much for bringing me in for a concert with the guest at Emerald Coast. What a fantastic time we had. I just want to take a moment and elaborate on what a beautiful resort this is. It is like a taste of paradise. The landscaping was unbelievable, everything was so immaculate and the staff all were top notch! The evening concert was just great! We had such a great time. We got to meet some of the finest people from all over the U.S. Beautiful, smiling faces and believe it or not, there were some from, GA! Yes, GA! Even one lady there, that had gone to school with our pastor's brother! Even though she no longer resides in that town, she still remembers him. WOW, I am still trying to remember all the different areas the people were from. Some from NY, MA, IL. But everything was so beautiful.  The concert went fabulous and we all had a splendid time of laughter and fellowship. Carl and Jane, thank you again and to all the wonderful people, thank you! We look forward to seeing you again in January.

On Friday night, we were off to Raccoon Creek River Campground! As the people began gathering around for the concert, around what looked like an old fort, things began to happen. Once again, we met some people from GA! WOW, how often is this going to happen. But, we also met a wonderful couple who touched our ministry is such a special way. How they encouraged us and uplifted up. God always has people in the right place, at the right time, to minister to YOU. We had such a wonderful time. We just want to thank Raccoon Creek River Campground for having us come in and present a concert. We look forward to seeing all the great folks there again.

Saturday night it was off to Colquitt, GA to Emerald Lake RV. Now, if you want to visit a place that has the best food around, you must go out and visit these people. My goodness, catfish, shrimp........but, that wasn't all. The best gospel concert you could find anywhere. New Beginnings, Chosen and Myself were there and it was a live TV taping. This taping will be aired in Dothan, AL. Now, you talking about two fantastic groups. New Beginnings and Chosen, both of these groups are. But, I have got to pick on New Beginnings just a little bit. Kaye cannot stand still. She will bless your soul and she has truly got soul in her. These three ladies can SING! They are anointed, they aren't ashamed to let anyone know they love the lord and you will be hearing more about them, because God is moving in their ministry. Go out and visit with them, you will be blessed.

Sunday we were at Trinity Holiness Church in Southport, FL. We had a service! The power of God fell and I got carried away! In fact, the whole congregation did. The congregation came to worship God and we had a meeting. We are still waiting to hear praise reports from this meeting. Now, they had food and all of you know by now, where there is food, you are going to find me. My goodness, they feed us some of the best I think I have ever ate.

Sunday night we were at The Ole Country Church in Panama City with Bro. Peacock. Heaven Came Down! I could have just went on another week. People obeying the spirit of God. Miracles happening! Praise God for the healing that took place there on Sunday night! Bro. Peacock. We look forward to seeing you again soon and all the wonderful people there.

Yesterday, we were at Southern Style Praise in Knoxville, filming a live T.V. program. Don't let anyone tell you that the power of God can' t be just as real. Bro. Dale, Bro. David and all the staff, they are all dedicated Christians and believe in praying over every single person before they film. The lord was there and his presence was evident. What a blessing we received and oh what a joy to know that our lord is with us, no matter where we go. We love these guys and praise God for the wonderful work they do to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ! Lift them up in your prayers and ask God to pour out his blessings on them.

Today we were with the wonderful folks at Calvary Baptist in Knoxville, TN. We had the pleasure of The English Family being able to come over and being with us. We love Jim, Wendy and their children. They are wonderful people. So beautiful and certainly called and anointed of God. We had a great time and just thoroughly enjoyed being able to spend time with them and fellowship.

Tonight, we were in Athens, TN at Valley View Baptist Church. Mr. and Mrs. Walker, we love you to pieces. You all are such a blessing! Great people and wonderful church! We love all of you and thank you for having us!

Another month has almost come and gone, but what a great month it has been! Surely we have seen the great move of God. Not only in the churches, but in prayer requests that have been sent to us and answers to prayers that have come in. I must uplift the name of Jesus and just share with you a wonderful testimony of how "My God Still Moves." Just this past week, a very dear friend of ours, Randy Abel, who is the Executive Producer of America's Homespun Gospel, sent us word that his 22 year old nephew had been involved in a ATV accident in FL. They had to place over 73 staples in his head alone and place him on a ventilator. The doctors were not giving him or his family much hope of recovery. Prayer warriors began to pray. The next day, we received word that Ricky had been taken off the ventilator and was sitting up in a chair asking to go home. The next day, we received word, that he would be dismissed from the hospital sometime over the weekend. People prayer changes things and God is still in control. He still moves mountains and still heals! Praise the lord! All we have to do is call upon his name and ASK him what we need and he is there waiting to answer.

It was a wonderful day in the lord at Coosa Valley Praise and Worship. It was great to be in service with "Heartfelt." After traveling with these guys for nearly twelve years, before the lord called me into a full-time solo ministry, these guys are just like my flesh and blood brothers. What a great time we had.  The alters were full all throughout the service. People praying, seeking God! People rededicating their lives to the lord! Worshipping our lord and savior, who is worthy to be praised. So many wonderful miracles were performed during this service and to God be all the glory. We love Bro. Steve and all the great people there. We love all the guys with Heartfelt and ask that you continue to pray for their ministry. They are a blessing to us.

Sunday night was another packed house! Straightway Holiness Church came out to have church! It was great to be with 5Alive In Christ! I love it when the power of God moves and people obey the spirit. Once again, the altar began to fill up and people seeking God for their needs! Bro. Simmons, pastor at Straightway, what a wonderful man and such a beautiful spirit. Every member of his church has such an Agape Love! It flowed from each of them. We had such a great time and love each of them.

Well, as we end the month of April, continue to pray for the ministry. How we rejoice in the lord over all HE is doing! It is always about HIM! Uplifting HIS name and praising HIM.

We would like for you to be in prayer about support of this ministry. We don't believe in begging for anything. Gas prices may be going up, but OUR God in in complete control and there is no stopping place of spreading the gospel.

If you would like to support this ministry with your donations, it would be used to glorify the kingdom of GOD. You can contact the office by email and we can handle any support you may like to give. If you would like to give on a monthly or quarterly basis, however the lord leads you.

Until next month, remember, God is always in control, he loves you and so do we!

Ron

May 2008

Praise the lord, God is still a God that answers all  prayers. Many of our friends and pray warriors know, we have been praying for a way to travel. For the last two years, we have traveled in a Subaru Imprezza and it has been very tight quarters, but we haven't complained, as God has been good to us. Today, May 1, 2008, we received a phone call where someone felt led of God to give us a van, that they personally went and purchased for this ministry to have better means to travel. It is a 1994 Plymouth Voyager. Oh, how we praise the lord and lift his name above all names. Our God is such a good God and he is always looking out for our needs. We can never thank him enough for what he is doing and all HE is going to do. It just humbles us to see the hand of God at work in this ministry and we just want to give him all the honor and glory. We do ask that you keep the ministry that gave us the van in your prayers and pray that God will multiply back to them a thousand fold. You never sow a seed, but what it comes back to you. I am telling you, it is so hard for me to sit here and write this for tears of rejoicing! I just always want to stay doing the WILL of MY FATHER and carry the gospel of Jesus Christ! I pray more and more doors would open and more and more souls would be won to the lord. We love all of you! Ron

It's hard to believe that May is rolling by so quickly and I apologize that I haven't caught everyone up on what has been happening on the road. God has been so good, HE is such an AWESOME GOD!

On May 2nd, I was at Faith Fellowship in Prattville, AL. Bro. Billy and the congregation was a certainly a blessing. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.  You could tell these people came to worship the lord and that we did. And of course, they like to feed you too! Some of the most wonderful people we met. It was a great night of worshipping and praising our lord and savior.

Saturday night was off to Alexander City, AL. I was at Wind Creek Resort. All day long it had stormed and appeared to be a day of gloom. But the clouds rolled back and the sun came through. But the real SON came in during the concert! this was an outside concert and people were not ashamed to lift their hands and voices to the lord. Many were sitting in their automobiles, blowing their horns and blinking their lights praising the Lord Jesus Christ! What a fantastic time! Afterwards, we were honored to sit around the campfire with the hosts of the resort and minister and talk about the master. It was like an old fashion prayer meeting. Mark this date on your calendar, as you don't want to miss this big event. July 4th and 5th, Jubilee Celebration at Wind Creek Resort! Yes, that's right! Two nights of old fashion celebration to our Lord! We will be singing praises to the king! Appearing Friday: Ron Brewer, Bonita Eileen, Servants Call and Reign Song. Saturday: Ron Brewer, Bonita Eileen and Reign Song. Call today and make your reservation as spaces are limited. Be sure to come out and be apart of this great Jubilee Celebration.

Sunday, we were with the wonderful people at Fairview Baptist Church in Oakman, AL for Homecoming. This was another awesome service. Bro. Scott and his congregation are always such a blessing. They have such an awesome band, as well as praise team. Bro. Scott's church has experienced phenomenal miracle's within the church since the last time I was there and what rejoicing to hear the wonderful testimonies of all that God had done! I can never express it enough, that "My God Still Moves." I must say, people in Alabama know how to cook. Especially those at Fairview. I have never seen so much food in my life. My wife said they cooked so much because they knew I was coming! As I looked over the table of food, it reminded me of how heaven will be when we all get there. What a feast we will have. If you haven't made already accepted Christ into your heart, let me ask you to do so now. Don't wait until it is too late.

Well, this past weekend of Mother's Day, we were off to the sunny side of the world, FL. The only thing I missed was my fishing pole. It was absolutely gorgeous and HOT! But what a grand time it was. On Saturday, I was with the wonderful people at Bradenton Seventh Day Adventist Church. Bro. Malcolm and the pastor were fantastic. Bro. Malcolm taught a super fantastic Sunday School lesson. The pastor was superb with his ministering. I love it when a pastor preaches to where even a child can understand it. The congregation was awesome, totally awesome. They all praised the lord and worshipped with me. I also had the delight of being apart of a couple renewing their wedding vows! Such a beautiful, beautiful service. I so look forward to being with the congregation at Bradenton Seventh Day Adventist again in Jan.

On Saturday afternoon, it was off to Shady Hills United Methodist Church for a Mother Daughter's Banquet. Denise, her mom and all involved were so wonderful! We love you guys! In all my years of ministering, I have never met ladies like these. They are dedicated to God, the ministry and loving ALL! There are not enough words to describe how my heart feels, other than love! Again, I look so forward to returning to Shady Hills in Jan. to minister with them on Sunday morning.

Sunday night I had the honor of being with Bro. Chuck at Bayhaven Baptist Church. I must mention Dr. Bill, the church pianist. What an awesome pianist! When you walk through the doors of the church, you can feel the love penetrating from within. Bro. Chuck, Sis. Lynell and the wonderful congregation was such a blessing. I always ask God to direct me and use me the way HE wants. I felt led to give my testimony. A lady in the congregation came forward afterwards and said, that was for me. You know, we never know who is going to be touched and in what way. Little did they realize, they touched me with all the love in their hearts. Bro. Chuck and Sis. Lynell are gems in God's eyes. Very precious people. Again, we look forward to being with them again in Feb.

It is so hard to believe that another month has gone by. As the old saying goes, "My, how time does fly when you are having fun." It is always fun to be about the FATHER'S business.

On May 17th, it was an honor to be in service with the wonderful people at Cedar Valley Baptist Church in Cedartown, GA. We had such a great time. From the moment you stepped into the church, you could feel the presence of God. The people came with one thing on their mind and that was to WORSHIP GOD. All throughout the concert, people were praising God and filling the altar, seeking God for various needs in their lives. It was also an honor to be near home and have my daughter, as well as my mom and dad in service with me.

On Sunday, I was at Moss Memorial Baptist Church in Calhoun, GA for Homecoming. Bro. Dan and all the wonderful, wonderful people there, it was totally awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed the message brought by the young minister that morning. What an outstanding job he did. Again, it is so great to go and worship with God's children. Not only do they worship with you, they pray for you and back you. I also want to command the outstanding choir they have and musicians. I must tell you, the ladies of the church are the best cooks in GA! There was so much food and I enjoyed myself.  It was such a joy and pleasure to be with Moss Memorial and I am looking forward to going back.

On Sunday night, I was at Gateway Baptist Church in Villa Rica, GA. I want to invite everyone in the area of Villa Rica to go out and be in service with the wonderful people at Gateway. They truly were a blessing! Have you ever walked into a church and felt so much love? This is a church that is filled with love from everyone. I can honestly say that everyone there had a heart of love for each other and for everyone that entered through their doors. Such a wonderful service and did I mention great food? Yes, they feed me and they have wonderful cooks. I had a surprise guest that night and what joy it brought to my heart. Mrs. Joanne Atkinson came down to be with us in concert. What a precious lady and dear friend. She has been a true blessing to this ministry, along with her sister Bonnie and brother in law Jerry Sizemore. We just want them to know how much we love them all.

On Saturday the 24th, it was a great honor to be with some wonderful people at the Sweetwater KOA Campground in Sweetwater, TN. Sandy and her son were totally fabulous. They have a beautiful place and such a beautiful heart. Something wonderful happened on this night, a night I will always remember. As the concert began, approximately 20 to 25 young people filled the area, ranging in age from 14 down. They sat there and took in each and every word that was sung. It thrilled my heart to see these young people come out and listen to the gospel in song. My desire is always to touch the lives of people and help lead someone to Christ. I pray that this night the songs of Jesus Christ made an impact upon these young people's lives.

On Sunday morning, I was at Unity Church Of God in Cleveland, TN with Bro. Grady and his great congregation. These people had just came back from campmeeting and they were all on fire. There was so much liberty! Awesome testimonies of how God had enriched their lives during campmeeting and how they had seen many come to know Christ. It didn't end at campmeeting, we had campmeeting that morning. Old fashion campmeeting! Certainly, I can say, it was a joy and privilege to be with Bro. Grady and his church. I look forward to seeing you all next year!

On Sunday night, I was at Parkway Baptist Church in Athens, TN. Bro. Scott and his congregation were awesome as well. The spirit filled the house and the power fell. Just like the song I sing, "Chains Fell Away." Well, I can tell you, there were not any chains on the meeting. Just a wonderful time of praising and worshipping God. Bro. Scott, I look forward to seeing you all again soon.

On May 30th, I was at Barefoot RV Resort in Marion, NC. This is absolutely a gorgeous place. Nestled in the heart of the mountain, lies a beautiful place of peace. Larry and Ron were no exception to the rule. Awesome people and so were all the other people. Some of the most precious Christian people you will ever meet! Drop by and visit with them, you will not be disappointed. They love the lord and love to share the gospel with all. Guys, we look forward to seeing you in the fall.

On Saturday night, I was at Mountain Stream RV Park, in  Marion, NC. Now, I must admit, I got lost. In fact, I don't know if you can say lost is the word. I was so turned around, I couldn't find my way out of one road to the next. This beautiful, beautiful RV Park is nestled in the mountains of Marion, NC way up in the mountains. Now, let me tell you, this is a place of total peace. Ron and Becky are two Christian people that I like to sit and talk with. They had a dream, a dream of offering other Christian people a place to go, where they could find peace, comfort and also offer them good ole gospel music. Now, they also have preaching as well. Their dream became a reality and they are dedicated to their promise to God. People come from all around to enjoy the beauty, peace and the worship at Mountain Stream. We had such a great time! Oh yes, they love to feed you and they are wonderful cooks too! See you guys next year!

On Sunday morning, it was such an honor to be at Forest City Four Square, in Forest City, NC. WOW, that is all I can say. This church is alive. Dynamite drama team and what a blessing to see their Deaf Drama Ministry. This ministry actually goes out and ministers to schools and areas where there is hearing impairment. It totally blessed my soul. The church was so wonderful, so loving and all came to worship the lord. What a great time! June 2008

On Sunday night I was at the First Spartanburg Church Of The Nazarene in Spartanburg, SC. Now, I cannot say enough great things about Kim and the awesome people of this church! Just awesome, totally awesome. Kim is the youth pastor and Bro. Hames is the pastor. Kim is so dedicated to the youth and Bro. Hames is truly the humblest pastor. What a heartfelt welcome they gave. We had a great service, a great worshipping service, with the move of God. Hey Kim, I am looking forward to seeing you guys, Bro. Hames was talking about July, so get those grills fired up! Love you guys!

Well, that wraps up the month, but it never wraps up the lords work! It is always a joy to be about the father's business! No time to waste, but to carry the gospel and share it with the world. I would also like to thank the lord for all he has done for me. It was such an honor to be nominated in the Top 10 Diamond Awards for Soloist Of The Year and Sunrise Award! On May 30th, I found out I am now in the Top 5, which is the final round of voting for the Diamond Awards, Soloist Of The Year. I give all the credit to Jesus Christ and praise him for all he is doing and has done!

Wow, it was great to be at Atlanta Live WATC Channel 57 in Norcross, GA on June 6th. This was fabulous. I cannot express my sincere thanks to the staff for having me be with them, and also to know that during the live broadcast, a young man called in and said he gave his life to the lord. This was worth it all. I look forward to going back and being with them again. Rick you run a great station and certainly, you can feel the presence of God.

For the next several dates, I was in Pigeon Forge, then off to Andrews, SC. It was a joy to be with some of the great artist I was with. Wonderful people who loved the lord.  All during the day in Andrews, singing and ministering. God never places you anywhere that there is not a reason and certainly he will always fulfill his divine purpose. Such a great day in the lord and what a blessing we received.

June 20 took me to Yogi Bear Campground in Marion, NC. Beautiful campground, nestled in the mountains and wonderful people who loved the lord.  Great concert on Friday night with people who came out to have a gospel concert. Yogi visited after the concert for a hayride for the little ones and boy did they like that. Beautiful landscape, cabins, you name, they have it, along with the love of God in their hearts. I am looking very forward to going back again.

Saturday night I was at Chesnee Gospel Music in Chesnee, SC. Prior to going to Chesnee, I had several hours to kill and got to visit some of my DJ friends in Spindale. I would like to say a big thank you to DJ Hoots for taking the time to speak with me and playing my music while I was there with him and all the other radio stations there in Spindale. Then off to Chesnee, it was great! The folks were great and we love you all.

Sunday morning was homecoming at Calvary Baptist Church in Sylvia, NC. This was a beautiful church sitting upon a hill. The pastor and church were so wonderful, another church filled with love beyond words. One lady still stands out in my mind, as it was her anniversary and as my mind remembers correctly, she was not supposed to ever walk again. Slowly she walked with her husband to the front of the church, but praise the lord, she was walking. What a blessing she was, as well as all the others. Every single person in the church. I must admit, they spoiled us, all the great food, all the love, and but most importantly the sweet presence of our lord. Look forward to seeing all of you again.

Sunday night it was off to Hartwell, GA! Bro. Stan, I still forgive you, lol. Love Bro. Stan and their fine church at Hartwell Church of God. We had a wonderful service. Great moving of the spirit and again, love beyond words. I tell you, I love it when people open their hearts and love you like you are their own. Can't wait to see all the people at Hartwell again. What a beautiful testimony this church has and sweet, sweet spirit..

Saturday, June 28, I was at Chelsea Baptist right here in my hometown. It was great to worship with my home people. Had a wonderful time. It was one of those concerts where they want more and more and I love it! Bro. Dean and Bro. Russell, I had a great time in the lord. There was no doubt about it, the presence of the lord was there. Love you guys very much! Bro. Paul, thank you so much!

Sunday morning at Hilltop Tabernacle in Dawsonville, GA. Bro. Tommy and his congregation were beyond fabulous. They assembled themselves together to worship God.  As always, I arrive early to set up equipment and do a sound check, I had a little time before service was to begin. Bro. Tommy and myself had the opportunity to talk and share many wonderful things about all God has done. What a blessing he was to me and his whole congregation. Thank you for allowing me to minister with you and I look forward to seeing you again soon!

Sunday night I was with the wonderful people at Miracle Lighthouse Church of God in Rossville, GA. Great people!!!!!! Awesome service!!!!! As we were standing around getting our equipment loaded, several of the young men of the church were helping out and oh how it touched my heart to listen to how the service touched them. That is why I go, is to reach out and touch people, to minister and share the gospel. To be a blessing. To see souls saved. To help those who are hurting, to share a smile with someone that may never see a smile. Jesus said, "Go Ye Into All The Worlds and Preach The Gospel." I may not be called to preach, but I am called to carry his gospel in song full-time and I will carry it and let the world know, He loves you, he cares about you and he died for you!

My single, "I'll Make It Someday," came out this month on the Chapel Valley Comp Disc/Church House Music. This is absolutely a fantastic song. It talks about making it to heaven and surely, as children of God, we are going to make it someday. To a land of perfect peace, joy and everlasting happiness. Call your local radio stations and request it. If you haven't heard it, call and request a copy of it. Also, Footsteps on the Clouds has become very popular and we know that any moment our lord is going to step on the clouds and call his children home. If you haven't heard this, call and request a copy of this, also call your radio stations and request them to play it as well. I do appreciate all of you and love you from the bottom of my heart. If you have any prayer request, please send me an email, so we can add them to our prayer list. Until next month, remember, we love you!

July 2008

WOW, July really started out with an explosion, literally! While doing the concert at Windcreek Resort in Alexander City, AL, a major storm arose just as equipment was being set up. A number of people from Phoenix City, AL had come over to hear me perform, as well as Sharon Kaye Graham. They really pitched in and helped get the equipment tore down and loaded. Lighting was hitting the ground in ways I had never seen before. Rain was coming down like there was a hole in the sky. Me and Trish had decided to tent camp, as we donot have a motor home. By this time, I didn't have a stitch of dry clothes on and never did Shane, Sharon's fiancé'.  The sirens had sounded and we all thought tornados were on the ground. People were running for safety. Ambulances were rushing in. Eight people had been struck by lighting, three severely, and one killed. I asked Trish if she thought I should check on our tents. She said it might not be a bad idea. Well, our tents were still standing, but there was six inches of water inside them. Our suitcases were inside. All our clothes were drenched and I could not get inside, due to the fan we had taken that was still plugged into the electrical outlet. There we were all wet, all our clothes wet and no where to go. Some friends of ours that had driven over from Phoenix City, AL went out and got us a room. It is the first time since I was a little boy that I slept in wet clothes. LOL. The next morning early, we returned to the site to see what we could do. There were four laundry mats on the premises and all four were occupied with people doing laundry from the storm. Needless to say, all our clothes ended up mildewed, but praise the lord, we survived the storm. Not a hair on our head was harmed. We have so much to be thankful for. We could have been hurt, but God had his hand of protection around us and keep us safe and secure from all danger. We have so much to praise him for. These are wonderful people and we love Carl and his wife. We thank God for Godly people who want the message of Jesus Christ brought in and we thank God that he was there, even through the storms.

On Sunday, we were at Chandler Springs Assembly of God for the morning service. We had such a great moving of the spirit. It was great to see friends that I haven't seen in years. It was also great to feel the presence of the lord Jesus Christ. We have a wonderful time in the lord. The pastor, his congregation and everyone made you feel loved, welcomed and we look so forward to seeing them again next year. If you can't feel the love when you walk into this church, there is something wrong. We love you guys very much.

On Sunday evening and Sunday night, I was at Harvestfield, with Wayne Hester. They are just part of our family. Wayne has been just like my pastor for many years. We had an outstanding service. The glory of God came down and we had church. Let me say, Wayne is not only an outstanding preacher, but also a very talented keyboard player. We love these people. They have supported our ministry and we love and appreciate them. Through their prayers, encouragement and we cannot express how much we love and appreciate them all.

On July 12th, I was at Buckner's in Jackson, GA. This was an awesome service. God showed up and showed out. I closed out the program that night and the lord really impressed upon me to give an altar call. Praise the lord for those who came forward. God is always on time. It is always about him and never about us. We praise him for those who came forward and ask you to continue to pray for them.

On July 18, I was at Jellystone Park in Cosby, TN with Marti and Dave. This was such an wonderful time. Know you want to talk about two people who are totally dedicated to serving God and has totally dedicated their campground to God, they have. They have such a beautiful place located in Cosby, TN. Just outside Gatlinburg, located between, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. This is a place where God's Presence is all around. People come from far and near to experience the presence of God. Anointed and dedicated to God's divine calling, this is a place where you can feel the Holy Spirit when you walk upon the premises. Dave is truly one of the best drummer's I have heard in a long time. We had such a wonderful time and people really enjoy the gospel being brought to them. Dave and Marti and truly seeking God and his leading in all they do. We love and appreciate them and thank them for the dedication to God. We also look forward to seeing them again next year.

On Saturday night, we were at Riverband Campgound and this is another Christian Campground, located in Pigeon Forge. Rex does an outstanding job here. He really focuses on bringing gospel music, but not not only gospel music, but youth explosions. The night before we were there, they had a week long week explosion and so many youth had been saved. Praise the lord. This is what it is all about. Winning the lost to Christ. We had a great time, met many wonderful people, made new friends, heard awesome testimony's and new places to minister. Thank you Rex and we look to seeing you again next year.

On Sunday morning, we were at Mowbray Church Of God in Soddy Daisy. All I can say is Glory Came Down. God filled the house and there was a spirit hovering over the building. His presence was all over the place. It was like a veil. Bro. Scott was so humble and I tell you, nobody knew next what was going to happen, but as the spirit began to move, the altars filled, people praying, seeking the lord in the life. We had church. We are definitely looking forward to next year and expect greater and mightier things. We love all you guys and pray for you and ask you to do the same.

Sunday night we was at Cross Baptist Church in Pinson, AL. These were absolutely fantastic people. Bro. Jim Hill, his wife, the congregation. Now, you won't believe this, but between our nine year old son and my wife, but they set the church alarm off. yes, they did. I was expecting to get hauled off to jail before I ever got to sing. The alarm literally went off for 15 minutes. I tried to get them to go and call the pastor, but no, they knew where a phone was in the church. I said, you don't need to be inside the church with the alarm going off. But, they managed to find the phone, called Bro. Jim and he said, it is a good thing you called or the church would destruct on you within 15 seconds, lol. They got the alarm off and everything was ok. We had such a great service. These were wonderful people who literally loved having a great time in the lord. We had driven three and a half hours to the booking on Sunday morning and then another 2 and 1/2 hours there that night. We were totally crazy! But, that is just what they wanted. Good ole fashion Christian entertainment, with Gospel Music. We had such a wonderful time, we all forgot about being so tired. You talking about some beautiful and loving people, these people are! Everyone single one of them. Sis. Hill is a wonderful pianist and Bro. Jim, he is, words cannot describe him. He is one in a million. So is their congregation. We love all you guys and thank you so much for the wonderful time in the lord. We are looking forward to seeing you again in 2009. Thank you from the bottom of our heart.

On the 25, we were at Klondyke at Ozark and had a great time. We had a wonderful surprise as some wonderful friends of ours came to be with us. New Beginnings. Now, if you haven't heard these three ladies, let me recommend them to you now. They are outstanding. They are dedicated Christians, outstanding harmony, have soul and will bless you beyond measure. You can find them on our shoutlife page at www.shoutlife.com/ronbrewer_mercyrain, be sure to check them out. We love them dearly and you will definitely be blessed. We love Ron Jeffers and always enjoy being with him at Klondyke, as well as all the wonderful folks. We had a great time and we always look forward to going back.

On Saturday we got to spend some time with our friends New Beginnings before going on over to Grimes Gospel Lighthouse. We had a great time there. We had an ole fashion service. The presence of God was there and we just had meeting. Great service, wonderful people and we love those people and thank Pat for booking us. We look forward to being with them again.

On Sunday morning, we had the wonderful opportunity to be with some old friends we haven't seen in a number of years at Cherry Street Church Of God in Talladega, AL. Bro. Micky Hurst and Charles Sellers. What a great service. What great musicians.  Awesome Pastor and what a awesome meeting. Man, the power of God was all over the building. It was just totally awesome. I love to feel the power of God. We definitely are looking forward to seeing you again in 09.

On Sunday night, it was great to go back to Westend Church Of God in Talladega, Al with Bro. Ottis Graves. It has been a very long time since I have been with Bro. Ottis. Me and Bro. Ottis go a long ways back. But, what a service we had. There were people there from churches we had ministered at in months gone back who testified of miracles that had happened. God's word says that it will not return unto him void. Praise the lord. But, it doesn't end there. People began to fill the altars, asking God into their lives, seeking more of God. It is all HIM, we are just his vessels. Praise the lord. What a meeting. Oh, how we look forward to being with Bro. Ottis again in Aug. 09. We love you Bro. Ottis and appreciate you and your church.

The month of July came to an end with alot of answered prayers and alot of people requesting prayer. It is our duty to pray for these people. Even though you may not know them by name, God does. Lift up our brothers in sisters in Christ. Always lift up the lost that God will save their souls. Remember our troops, and our nation. Pray for one another and let us bear one another's burdens.

I would also like to give the lord a big thank you for all he is doing of me! I can never thank him enough. "Footsteps On The Clouds," is still climbing. It is currently at #88 on the charts. I praise the lord. Call your radio stations and request it and also my newest single on the Chapel Valley Comp Disc, "I'll Make It Someday," cut #4. Both of these songs are songs referring to us making it to heaven and we know the lord is soon coming after his children.

Remember, I love you, Trish loves you and you all are so precious to all of us, but most of all, Jesus loves you.

August 2008

I guess everyone thought I wasn't ever going to get around to updating the news for August, but it has been a very busy month. The lord has truly been blessing. It is so exciting to see how God moves and the souls that come to know him. To God be all the glory.

On August 2nd, I was with the wonderful people at Mountain Lakes Resort in Langston, Al. This is such a beautiful place. Sandy and all the wonderful people there were such a blessing to us. They have such a beautiful chapel and the presence of the lord was so wonderful. We had a fantastic time sharing in concert with the wonderful people.

On Sunday, I was with Bethel Baptist Tabernacle in Cleveland, TN. WOW, what a service. The altars were full. People praying, seeking God and turning their lives around. What a sweet, sweet spirit and to see people obey the lord the way they did. I look forward to being with them again in 2009.

On Sunday night, I was with Bro. Jimmy at Smyrna  Baptist Church in Ocoee, TN. Again, such a wonderful service. People in the altars praying, seeking the lord for needs in their life. So much love from these wonderful people. It is awesome to see the power of God move. It is all about HIM. Bro. Jimmy, we will see you again next year.

On Wednesday night, I was with the fine folks at Wesley Christian Chapel in Delta, Al for Revival. Bro. Dennis Sanders did an outstanding job giving his testimony on where the lord had brought him from and how the lord is using him. Bro. Dennis is so anointed and he really touched my life. I was also so blessed by Bro. Dennis' step mother who sang, she has such a beautiful voice. We had a great time in the lord and all the people at Wesley Chapel are such beautiful and loving people. They are also awesome cooks.

On Friday, I was in Bath, NY at the Nite Life Gospel House with  Bro. Ron Pennington and his wife. This was an a wonderful pleasure for me. Bro. Ron is such an accomplished musician and his wife is a very anointed singer. Both he and his wife are also missionaries. This was a wonderful concert and we had a wonderful time.

On Saturday, I was with Bro. Bob Sly in Evans Mills, NY. We had such a wonderful time during our drive up to Evans Mills. We were able to see so much of the beautiful country, including, much of the Amish land, along with Lake Seneca and also Lake Ontario. These were just proof of the beauty of God's creation. By the time we arrived at Bro. Bob's we are right on the Canadian border. We were so blessed of the lord and had such a wonderful, wonderful time. Such beautiful people and loving. Full of God's love and how they did show it.

On Sunday night, I was in Bel Air, MD with the wonderful people at Hickory Baptist, Church. Now, these folks were ready to go to church. But, they did need me, lol. They had a trio in their church that could flat sing. Sis. Tara and her two daughters were out of this world. I could have sat there and listened to them all night. The power of God fell and heaven came down. We didn't have church, we had camp meeting. It was one of those meetings, if you didn't get blessed, your wood was wet. I am looking forward to going back and being with them again soon. Love you guys.

August 23, I had the honor of being with my own family of (Chapel Valley Family) my recording label, The Roarks, along with Jordan Amburn, New Heights and Reign Song at Grace Memorial Baptist Church in Alcoa, TN. What a night of inspiration. This wasn't just a concert. Again, we had holy ghost camp meeting. The wonderful people at Grace Memorial fed us before the concert and man they could cook. Jordan began the concert and I tell you, this is one anointed singer and preacher. The power of God began to move across the building. New Heights followed Jordan and they just continued on. The power of God kept right on moving. People were praising God and worshipping God. My turn was next. I can't contain myself when the spirit is moving, heaven came down and I had myself a time. Everyone did. Reign Song came up next and it just continued on. It just kept getting sweeter and sweeter. The Roarks closed out the concert and it was such a blessing. Paul had just been released from the hospital a few days before, after being admitted with a heart attack. The doctors had told him he had an artery that was 100% blocked and would require surgery. But, Paul is a fighter and stands firm on God's word, just like Jetta. Amazingly to the doctors, the artery began to unblock itself. Praise the lord. The doctors could not explain it, but we know who is in control. Paul came in fired up, he had every reason to be and what a concert. I wish everyone could have been there. It was a blessing, a tremendous blessing. We love Bro. Ron and his church. They are a wonderful  church and a very special thanks to Kim for all her hard work at coordinating this special concert. Grace Memorial, we love you all and thank you so much for having us with you, we are looking forward to seeing you again soon!

On Tuesday, I was with the wonderful people at Emmanuel Baptist Church in McDonough, GA for their Revival. Bro. Andy Fennel was running their revival and it was so good to see him again. We had a great time seeing Andy and some of our wonderful friends that come over from Al to be with us. We are so excited about going back to be with them again next year and ask you to keep these wonderful people in your prayers.

On Thursday and Friday, I was in Youngsville, PA for Gospel By The Brook with Bro. David. WOW, is all I can say. This was absolutely on the best camp meetings I have ever attended. Me and Trish pulled in at 1:30 on Thursday after driving 16 hours and Dave and Idie were so wonderful to us. Guys we love you more than words can ever express. We grabbed a couple hours sleep and was back over at 5:00 p.m. for dinner and meet and greet. The concert began at 6:30. Man, you talk about people who come to worship God and love, these people do. I wish I could call each individual person by name. Rex, Rus, BAM, Dave. Idie, Rex's wife, Rus' wife, Bam's mom, Vonne, Rich, their granddaughter (she got saved, ptl,) oh man, there are so many and so many that we didn't get all their names and we don't want to omit anyone's name. We love all you guys. Bro. Painter, all the wonderful folks with you. We didn't want to come home. It was paradise. Jubilee. Just old fashion, camp meeting and great singing. I must mention though, Vonne said she was officially my fan club now, her, Rich and their grand daughter. God Bless y'all. You all are too sweet. We are looking forward to seeing you all at Christmas in the Smokies. Of course we will see you in October and can't wait. I will have to mention, all these folks can sing them self. Vonne is an outstanding songwriter. Again, the best cooks in PA. They are going to get me so fat, I won't be able to get through the door. But, everyone should have been there to hear the word preached. It was truly the inspired word of God. See you guys in Oct, we love you all and miss you bunches. Bro. Dave and Sis. Idie, you all are very special to us and you did a wonderful job. All of you have a special place in our hearts. There is no words that can say thank you enough for the love you showed us and how much you mean to us. What an awesome God we serve. Just to know the one soul that gave her life to the lord is so wonderful.

On Friday night we pulled out and drove to Boone, NC to be with Ottha and Vicky and Vanderpool RV Park. Now, I am telling you, all these people feeding me is really going to cause me to gain tons of weight. We met some of the most wonderful people. Otha and Vicky were just awesome. We fell in love with them, as well as the rest of the people. Little did we know, most of the people were from FL and they were all excited to see that we had so many dates coming up in FL. They all got our schedule so they could come out and support us while we were in their area. As we stood around and talked afterwards, it was great to share testimonies of how God had moved in each of our lives. How he had brought each of us all through storms and trails in life. We never know who's life we are touching. It is always being willing to obey God.

On Sunday, we were scheduled to be at Faith Freewill Baptist Church on the a.m. service.

On Sunday night, we were at Church Of Jesus In Johnson City, TN, with Bro. George, with his wonderful congregation. We really liked Bro.. George, as he  preaches it like it is. What awesome musician. We wanted to take them with us. But, Bro. George wouldn't let us take them. Bro. George was certainly an anointed man of God and preached a wonderful message on taking back what the devil had stolen from you. He had so many wonderful singers in his church and we enjoyed everyone of them. From the moment you walked into the church, you could feel the power of God. This was another great service and another great concert. I am looking forward to going back in October and being with Bro. George in Revival. We love Bro. George and all his people. They are wonderful people and they all showed us love and we had a great time in the lord.

Remember, we love you and appreciate you all! Come out and be with us, we always look forward to seeing our friends at any of our concerts. Your prayers are always coveted.

Please remember to call your radio stations and request, "I'll Make It Someday," off the Chapel Valley Comp Disc," Cut #4.
